4.2.5 Electrical connection of BIPV

Germany and the Netherlands, most of the photovoltaic roof plan is installed in residential buildings on the decentralized system, power is generally 1 ~ 50kWp range. Because PV compensation price is different from the user's electricity price, so the use of dual-table system, a table used to record the solar power system can be fed into the power grid, the other record the user's electricity consumption, as shown in Figure 4-28 .
Roof-to-grid PV also has some very powerful systems such as the 2MWp BIPV system on the rooftop of the Messe Munchen in Germany and the 200kWp system in the Berlin railway station. For small systems, generally only one grid-connected inverter; for large systems, multiple inverters can be used. Berlin Railway Station 216kWp the BIPV system, divided into 12 solar cell sub-matrix, each sub-matrix of 60 300Wp solar module components. Each square is connected to a 15kV • A inverter, respectively, and power generation. Munich 2MWp BIPV project is different, 2MWp by 2 1MWp system in one, two completed. Each lMWp system uses a common DC bus, three 300kV • A inverter in accordance with the master-slave operation, when the solar irradiance is weak when only one inverter work.

When the sun is strongest, three inverters are working, so that will have a higher conversion efficiency.

Grid-on solar power generation can be used to generate electricity, electricity separately priced wiring, you can also use the "net meter" pricing of the wiring. Germany and most of the European countries have adopted a dual-price system, the power company's high price of solar photovoltaic power purchase [average 0.55 euros AkW.h]), the user side of the electricity only to pay the conventional low price [0.06 ~ 0.1 euros / ( KW.h)], the policy known as the "feed-in tariff" policy. In this case, the PV system should be incorporated into the grid before the customer's meter. The United States and Japan to use the initial investment subsidies, the operation of the photovoltaic power generation is no longer make electricity, but allows the use of photovoltaic power generation to offset the user from the grid electricity consumption, electricity companies in accordance with the user meter net fee, known as the "net meter" system. At this point, the photovoltaic power generation system shall be connected to the grid after the user's meter. Of course, with the photovoltaic power generation costs continue to decrease, the amount of subsidies are also down.
As China has not yet installed in the urban distribution side of the photovoltaic power generation system to implement high prices, so most of the projects using "net meter" power distribution. Schematic diagram of single-phase and three-phase wiring of netmeter is shown in Figure 4-29 and Figure 4-30, respectively.
