4.4 PV system design software

RETScreen clean energy project analysis software is currently China's often used for photovoltaic power generation system inclination and power generation calculation software. It is a unique decision support tool developed by the Canadian government. The software is completely free of charge, and provides Chinese support. At the heart of this is a standardized energy analysis model that can be used globally to assess the energy production, energy efficiency, life cycle cost, greenhouse gas emission reductions and financial risks of energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies.
The RETScreen energy engineering model can be developed in the EXCEL working document, which consists of a series of worksheets. The PV project model includes six worksheets: energy model, solar resource and system load calculation, cost analysis, GHG (emission reduction) analysis, financial summary and sensitivity and risk analysis.
The energy model and solar resource and system load calculation worksheet is used to calculate the annual generation of PV plants based on local site conditions and system performance.
The Solar Resource and System Load Calculation Worksheet is used to connect the energy model worksheet to calculate the energy load and the energy saved by the PV system.
Cost analysis refers to the initial investment or investment, and annual or recurring costs, refer to the product database for relevant information to understand the required price and other information. ''
Greenhouse gas analysis: You can choose whether to carry out greenhouse gas analysis. If analysis is required, you will need to enter some data into the Financial Summary worksheet to calculate the revenue and cost of GHG abatement.
Financial Summary: The financial summary is used to evaluate each energy project. Typically, the financial summary worksheet consists of six sections: annual energy balances, financial parameters, project costs and savings, financial viability, annual cash flows and cumulative cash flow charts. The annual energy balance and project costs and savings provide an overview of the relevant energy models, cost analysis and GHG reduction analysis worksheets for each research project. Financial Feasibility Provides the financial indicators for the energy project analyzed. This indicator is based on the user input in the financial parameters of the data. The annual cash flow can visualize the trend of pre-tax, after-tax and cumulative cash flows during the project period.
Sensitivity and Risk Analysis: This worksheet can be used to assess the sensitivity of the main financial indicators of the project after the current major economic and technical indicators change. Sensitivity analysis and risk analysis all provide the relationship between the key parameters and the project's key financial indicators and show which parameter changes have the greatest impact on the financial indicators. Sensitivity analysis (including Monte Carlo simulation) faces the average user, while risk analysis focuses on those who know the statistics. Both of these analyzes are options, and their analysis has no effect on the analysis and results of other worksheets.
The tool also includes product, weather and expense databases, online manuals, websites, engineering manuals, engineering case studies, training courses, and more. The global meteorological database in the software is from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
