Residential Solar Energy Cost

Author: Source: Datetime: 2016-10-23 13:12:56
residential solar energyThe National Renewable Energy Laboratory has set a goal to make residential solar energy costs less than $ 1.50 per watt installed by 2020. Currently priced between $ 3 and $ 5 per watt, I have always thought NREL's goal is unreachable, even if the cost of photovoltaic panels is drastically reduced. As stated in the NREL report, "soft" costs - design, installation and licensing - are almost half the price of residential PV systems, and these costs do not fall as much as hardware costs. SunCulture Solar wants to change this situation with its innovative patented integration unit: SolPadTM, a panel that integrates PV panels, batteries, charge controllers and flexgridTM inverters.

There are two versions of the SolPad: the SolPad Home (shown above) for permanent installation, as well as the SolPad Mobile (pictured below), portable solar power generator station. These units include integrated batteries and hybrid inverters that can be operated in stand-alone and grid-connected designs.
