REC Improves Polysilicon Solar Photovoltaic Cells 20% Efficiency

This result is due to improvements in all aspects - from silicon to cell production. The average battery efficiency of the batches of solar powered portable generator batteries processed on this line was 20.21%, and the best battery efficiency measured by the internal testers was 20.47%.
REC is the first high-performance industrial-scale production of the polysilicon platform to achieve the well-known manufacturers. Starting in November 2016, the new process will be used in the REC Singapore integrated manufacturing plant production line.
